My Photo Album

This is the page where I'll describe myself in more detail.

I turn 60 on my next birthday. I am 5'6" (for you furriners, that's 166 cms.) and weigh about 200 lbs.(again, for you furriners, that's about 93 kg.) I spent most of my adult life with medium to dark reddish brown hair, then I lightened it to red, as the gray came in, then I took the rest of the color out of my hair and now have very light ash blonde hair. It is long, almost to my waist in the back. I'm rather busty, always was, even when I was slender. I smile a whole lot more than I used to. Doc, my Significant Other is one of the reasons.

Since I'm a disciple of Carlos Castaneda, by rights I shouldn't have any personal history. But I will tell you this: My life really began when I became a Pagan in 1974.My life began again when I gained access to the Internet in 1997. I like to chat on the computer. I used IRC for several years, then I got out of it when the IRCworm scare hit last year. I like to write to music, and the music I listen to when I write is suited to the mood of what I'm writing. For example, I've discovered that Wagner and Godsmack are both good fightin' music. Last year when I was writing Quest for Love, when the Vikings were attacking the Druids, I played Wagner as I wrote about the fights.

What a job!

My job is writing. I write fiction, in other words, I tell stories, but I try to insert little bits of truth in with the fiction. And I like to think that my stories convey a much larger truth in them. One thing about writing stories is that it brings out the Goddess within me. I create the characters and the situations that they get into. Sometimes I also create the world that they are in.
